The 3-door Toyota Auris, parked right behind my 3-door Corolla E12.

What about the Dodge Caravan behind them? Or is that not a Routan?

That’s a regular Touran, I see approximately 1 million of them every day.

Yep, the non-US Touran, which is an anagram of Routan because it saved a bunch of money on badging :)
Generic MPV almost everywhere in Europe. It used to have a Ford-branded twin called the Galaxy/Galaxie, IIRC.

The VW Sharan was the one that was badge-engineered into a Ford Galaxy and the Seat Alhambra. It was larger and worse than the Touran, which is based off the Golf platform.

Ahh, that’s right! It’s hard to keep all these non-US vehicles straight. The only MPV that VW has had here in the past 15 years is a weakly badgineered Chrysler Town & Country.
Actually, it wasn’t horrible. Just horribly marketed and serviced. VW doesn’t like to touch them and neither does Chrysler. Total orphan, I think it sold for 2 years.

Not quite.
Galaxy Mk1:
Sharan Mk1:
Both made in a joint VW/Ford plant in Portugal. For the subsequent models each company went their own way. VW bought the plant and made the Scirocco there.
Top trivia: each model got the VW 1.9 diesel, or a 2.3 Ford petrol or a 2.8 VW VR6.
